Call for Workshop Facilitators May-June 2024
Are you a current Ph.D. or M.A. student in Art Education eager to share your expertise and creativity?
You could be among our next group of workshop facilitators!
We are happy to announce the 2024 edition of the Department of Art Education Workshop Series! These workshops aim to enrich the learning journey of educators, equipping them with innovative skills and knowledge in art education.

This is a paid opportunity. Each accepted workshop is compensated for 50 hours at the TRAC rates.
What does a workshop facilitator do?
Propose an idea for a workshop.
Design, develop and conduct a one-hour, engaging, hands-on workshop to inspire current and future art educators.
Attend the full day of workshops on the day yours is scheduled.
Reflect on the workshop experience for yourself and the participants and provide a brief report.
What support will you have?
Support from curriculum specialists to help you brainstorm and finetune your workshop design or delivery.
All materials you need for your workshop
Hands-on technical and logistics support on the day of the workshop
Lunch!
Who are potential workshop participants?
Teacher trainees
Teachers from all school boards
Students in the Art Education and Education departments
Students from other universities
Interested members of the public

Deadline to submit: February 19, 2024
Proposal acceptance: March 8, 2024
Workshop dates: Saturdays in May and June in person
