Elsy Zavarce
Elsy Zavarce is a multidisciplinary visual artist, interdisciplinary researcher, and an emeritus professor at the University of Zulia. Born in Canada, Elsy grew up in Venezuela. As an immigrant, she looks back to her history, her memories and experiences, and through the eyes of an artist she expresses her response in a critical and sensitive way.
